Anna Julia Rather
Intern
I believe that therapy can be a safe place to explore who you are, discover your strengths, and feel empowered to grow. My goal is to approach each client with compassion and without judgment—everyone is at a different point in their journey, and I would be honored to meet you where you are. We all make mistakes and face challenges that often feel like too much, and we all deserve someone who believes in us. I hope to be that person for you.
I draw from a systemic perspective, recognizing that all relationships deeply impact how we function. I have a particular passion for supporting those navigating OCD and anxiety-related concerns, as well as a range of individual and family challenges. As a student therapist at Friends University, I work under the direct supervision of an LCMFT who is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor to ensure that I provide the best, most informed care possible.
