Melanie Godfrey
Intern
I offer a grounded, nonjudgmental space rooted in presence, equality, and respect for each person’s path. My style is warm and intuitive, drawing from mindfulness, creativity, and depth-oriented traditions. I’m especially drawn to supporting clients through trauma, grief, and neurodivergent experiences. I hold the belief, as Jung wrote, that “the privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are”—and I feel honored to walk alongside others in that unfolding. Seeking therapy can be a scary but exciting time of change. My goal as your therapist is to create a safe and healthy environment to help you explore life’s challenges and instill hope for growth. I work closely with adolescents, adults, and couples to process intense emotions, identify patterns of thoughts and behaviors that are causing distress and build new skills to improve functioning and relationships. I believe in a collaborative strength-based approach to help you recognize your inner power and ability to change. I would be honored to be part of your journey.
