A Letter to Our Community

From: The Resolve Team

To: Our clients and the Greater Kansas City community

Our number one priority during this time of increased concern is safety for our clients, the community and our staff. As a premier mental health provider in the Kansas City area, we strive to ensure safety with both the physical health and mental health of those who we serve.

Below are some steps we are taking as an agency:

1. We are keeping ourselves and you safe. Our staff will not be in the office if they show signs/symptoms of illness and we request that you keep your distance as well if you are showing signs/symptoms of illness.

2. We are increasing the amount and type of cleaning that takes place in our physical space. Our building continues to increase the amount of cleaning and as an agency we are bringing in a secondary service to ensure spaces stay sanitized.

3. We are continuing to keep our doors open to address the needs of the community. We know that now more than ever people need support and connection. Intentional connection in safe spaces can help us cope and we are here to support you.

4. We are reimagining mental health services. For those people who don't want to come in for services, telehealth options are available. We know that you may not want to come into the office even though we are open. All clients are able to access our HIPPA compliant telehealth platform in order to still get services. Reach out to your individual therapist in order to get set up.

5. We are taking care of our own mental health. As helpers, it is in our nature to always help others first and during this time we are practicing what we preach and making sure we take care of ourselves as well. That means you may see us diffusing oils in our room or walking around the building for a break.

6. We want to be a resource for you. Here are some websites we trust and would recommend looking into if you want more information:

● World Health Organization

Center for Disease Control

● For parents of young children

● Our social media accounts will continue to be a place where you can get relevant information regarding how to cope. Follow us for up to date information!

Thank you for trusting us as a healthcare provider.
