Do you feel like things are never going to get better?
Are you a woman going through a life transition that is bringing you down?
Have you recently had a baby and are struggling with managing it all?
Have you experienced a sexual trauma or assault that makes daily functioning, dating, or your sex life difficult?
Are you finding yourself crying at the smallest things?
Has the nightly glass of wine turned into two or three?
Are you a college student who's mind is racing through all of the things you need to accomplish today?
Are you a wife who feels overwhelmed with your relationship and your life?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you are like millions of other of women in the world who have the daily pressures of meeting expectations as wives, daughters, employees, mothers, friends, and sisters. Women tend to feel like they have two have everything figured out and be able to juggle it all. When they can't keep everything afloat they are at an increased risk for anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. Often times, women believe they are the only ones feeling this way and are afraid to talk about it with the ones they love most, leaving them isolated and feeling alone—like they have to tackle the world by themselves.
Resolve can help.
As a woman, there are many unique life circumstances that we encounter and many pressures that are put upon us that others may not have, such as whether or not to get married, have children, and/or continue working. Circumstances such as leaving for college, a recent breakup or empty nest syndrome can contribute to a decline in mental health. Life changes happen in the blink of an eye, and the path we thought we’d be on can change in an instant. RESOLVE works with women to overcome depression and anxiety, address issues of inadequacy or feelings of worthlessness, decrease shame and guilt, improve confidence within themselves to live a wholehearted life, and maintain sobriety.
