Brooke Williams is a Board certified and Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Kansas and member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. She graduated from Rockhurst University with a Masters in Occupational Therapy. She specializes in holistic and individualized treatment integrating physical and mental health. She assists with recovery of an injury and management of diseases/disorders through the mind-body connection. She has a special interest in prevention and wellness, stroke recovery, life/social skills training for adolescents, and developmental disabilities in children. She has a background in working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, injury, and acute or chronic health conditions with adults.
Brooke has studied biology, psychology, anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics and has also worked in genetics. She understands the impact proper nutrition and exercise have on the body and the importance of maintaining positive habits for aging well. Brooke is enthusiastic about teaching others ways to implement healthy habits into their daily routine and being a part of the movement to a more natural approach to wellness. A phone screening will be conducted prior to initial evaluation to assess therapeutic need and to inform of items to bring to the evaluation. |
